Resignation from iGames Players Council | |

Yesterday, a set of guidelines concerning the organization and conduct of the "iGames Players Council" was sent out to the council members. This came as no surprise to me. Ever since my interview with B.net, iGames has viewed the council as something of a loose cannon. Unfortunately, some of the guidelines are in direct conflict with my loyalty to the Halo community as well as my original vision of what The Players Council would be. Boiled down, iGames wants the council to primarily serve iGames, its game centers, and its customers, whereas I wanted the council to serve the general gaming public. Consequentially, I turned in my letter of resignation yesterday. The Players Council may continue to exist in some form and continue working toward the ultimate Halo tournament (*coughhaloworldcup*), but my affiliation with iGames and the iGames Players Council is hereby terminated. You can find my letter of resignation here. Shortly thereafter, Psyrixx, under no pressure from me, chose to resign (albiet in his own special way ;) as well. If there is any public interest, I'd be willing to post our original concept (along with theirs ... heh) for the Halo Winter Season on psyjnir.com. <3,
